Bandom Science Project, Part 2 + Discussion

Here's the second part of my friend's reactions. Also, a bonus!discussion at the end.

 

THE USED:

 - BERT: Bert made my friend sad. She said that he has one of the most gorgeous faces she's ever seen; and that it was a shame that he was trying so hard to look like a crazy homeless person. She didn't like blonde!Bert. She kept 'tsk, tsk'-ing the whole time. She asked me if she had a girlfriend; I told her he was married, and she didn't understand why she lets him go out “looking like that.”

 - QUINN: She thought he was hot and handsome and that he looked like a cool guy. Her exact words were, “he looks like someone I'd date.”

 - JEPHA: She kept asking me to show her more and more pictures of Jepha; because she found him incredibly sexy but she didn't understand why because she actually thought he was ugly. Her veredict was, “I'd fuck him in a heartbeat, but I wouldn't date him. He seems perfect for a filthy one-night stand.”

 - DAN: She thought he looked like a frog. Sorry, Dan.

 

 COBRA STARSHIP:

- GABE: Her reaction was, “somebody needs to tell this guy that we're no longer in 1985.” But then she saw him shirtless, and she saw him wearing a suit, and she was like, “Hot damn! What's with these guys and their insistence in fight their hotness?”

 -She found the rest of the guys average-looking.

 

 THE ACADEMY IS...

 - WILLIAM BECKETT: She thought he was prettier than most girls. She said that long-haired!William looked like Jim Morrison. She was mesmerized by his long, long legs.

 - MIKE CARDEN: Her reaction to him was, “ugh, he looks like every other emo kid out there. Next!”

 - MICHAEL GUY CHISLETT: She thought he was cute, but she hated his hair.

 - THE BUTCHER (or is it just Butcher?): She almost came in her pants when she saw him. She loved everything about him, she adored his ink, his smile, his face, his body, just, EVERYTHING. She blamed me for keeping his existence from her for so long. She kept making 'UNF' and 'NGHHH' and all kinds of undignified sounds at the screen.

 - ADAM T. SISKA: As much as she loved Brendon and The Butcher, Siska was her favorite. She had hearts all over her face, and kept saying, “no mames, no mames esta buenisimo!” (something like “fuck, fuck he's so hot!”)and she actualfax wrote down his name so she could stalk him when she got home. She obviously asked to listen to their music right then and there, and she loved William's voice and then we saw all the videos we could find, and by the time she left she was pretty much obsessed with Siska.

 

 

Well, there you have it. The reactions of someone who wasn't familiar with any of them. Does her reactions surprise you, or you kind of expected them?

 Now, to make this a little bit less pointless, tell me: Are you attracted now to the same bandom people you were attracted to before you got to know more about them? What, if anything, have changed since the first time you saw them, attraction-wise?
