Election Day
Jul. 6th, 2009 02:23 amI'm so dissapointed and angry. I still can't believe that Rodrigo Medina is going to be our next governor.
How can people vote for someone without bothering to do any kind of research whatsoever? How is it possible that they're willing to sell their vote for some pocket change? It's the future of our state we're talking about!
We had an incredibly competent candidate, who's not as corrupted as most of our politicians; but they had to go and vote for the one who has links with drug cartels.
So now we're back to living in fear; back to be afraid to have a nice car, or wear nice clothes because we may become a target for the kidnappers. The owners of small business will have to keep on paying the cartels a weekly fee (or face possible death if they don't). I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT.
All we can do now is pray for our familie's safety. God help us.

Date: 2009-07-14 06:23 am (UTC)can there be a large protest or petition or something? or is it like the states where even though they say the people voted, it's really the sneaky fuckers on the inside who decide who gets in. :(
i hope that you will be safe and well. <3

Date: 2009-07-15 01:30 am (UTC)They also buy the sheets from the people who didn´t vote, which in this election was 43% of the registered voters.
I hope it wasn´t too confusing... the bottom line is: they are fucking criminals, and they´re the one who´ll be running the state.
