I lost all of my music. All of it. It's gone.

My best friend was "helping me" because I was having trouble with my itunes, and she was like "I'll just restore the whole thing" and I didn't think it was necessary to tell her to back everything up first, and she didn't, and all my music was lost.

Worst part is, all my cd's were stolen a few months ago, when I left my car with the valet parking of a restaurant. I was furious, but it was okay because I had them all in my itunes library already.

So as you can see, I'm freaking out. My friends already offered me to share all their music with me, and I'm grateful for that, but although we share some music taste, there are bands that they don't like and I love, so this is where I need your help.

Basically, I'm asking you to share your music with me, particularly:

- The Beatles (I know this is really not the place to ask for that, but The Beatles ;__; )
- Green Day
- The Killers
- Kings of Leon
- My Chemical Romance
- The Used
- Fall Out Boy
- Panic at the Disco
- Cobra Starship (I didn't have their music, but since I'm already asking...)

And of course, everything else that you'd like to share with me.

Please you guys, help an old lady out. It's the polite thing to do, and I'd be forever in your debt.

About anything else besides the bands I already mentioned, I like EVERYTHING. Seriously, I even had Britney Spears on my ipod. However, if you have 80's-90's music, I'd appreciate that. You know, The Cure, Erasure, R.E.M., Oasis, Duran Duran, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc.

But don't worry, whatever you can share it's fine.

As for repaying me, you don't have to! What goes around, comes around. I've lost my music MANY times, and I've always been lucky enough to have people to help me. Now it's my turn to help you. :) (And I'm all too happy to do it!)

I've got most of the files zipped already since my computer is behaving nicely and going super fast tonight. Obviously it wants you to have your music back too. ;) Don't worry, I should have all this done by the end of the weekend, I think! I'm going to actually!

Ps - what's your email address? That way I can just send you the files via Sendspace. Does that work for you? (I better ask that before I upload! XD) Or I might just compile all the sendspace links into one email, so you have a point of reference while you download. (So you don't accidentally double-download anything)

So sorry!!! DDDD: My computer got stolen five years ago and by some random stroke of luck, I had backed all my music up (all 5000 songs) onto 18 CDs just the week before. THANK GOD.

Is there anything left you still need? I have a lot of that stuff. For the Beatles, I've got part of Revolver and Rubber Soul and all of Sgt. Pepper's, Magical Mystery Tour, Let It Be, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road and both White Albums.

Oh dude you are SO welcome! Music loss is TERRIBLE and I honestly have nightmares about losing my music sometimes. I have songs I burned from cassette tape to CD to my computer over 10 years ago, of bands who I would have no idea how to track down today.

That SO SUCKS that you lost all your music. Hopefully you at least have it on an iPod or something? (If you have a Mac, get Sneuti, and if you have a PC, you can get programs like it..

Basically, it allows you to transfer music from an iPod/Zune/mp3 player and save it on to your computer.

The ipod was connected so when my friend restore iTunes, I lost both my library AND the music I had on my iPod.

I don't use limewire anymore because a few months ago I got a virus from it.
